Getting Comfortable at the Singapore Motorshow 2020
There’s no stepping out of the Comfort Zone at the largest automotive event in Singapore.
Every year, Singapore holds one of the grandest automotive events in the nation – the Singapore Motorshow 2020. This year was the largest edition yet, with the lineup spanning two massive floors at the Suntec Singapore Convention and Exhibition Centre from 9th to 12th January. As always, Citroën Singapore was proud to have been part of this spectacular show.
Remember Mr Oh?
If you haven’t heard of Mr Oh (Alaric Tay), you should know that he truly is Obsessed with all things Comfort, Definitely. That’s what makes him so fond of the Citroën C5 Aircross. Whether it’s a seamless glide through the streets or lounge-like pampering with Advanced Comfort seats, he knows that the C5 Aircross has him covered.
In fact, amidst all the fun, we were lucky to have him grace the Citroën booth at the Singapore Motorshow 2020 for some fun and games. Friendly and humorous as ever, Mr Oh took over our Instagram space, mingled with the crowd, and quizzed us on his favourite ride – the attentive ones with the right answers even walked away with exclusive Citroën merchandise.
Quick on Your Feet
Mr Oh also spent the day rallying forces to take part in our Fit ‘em All boot challenge. Participants set themselves against the clock and against fellow challengers to fit as many items into the boot of the C5 Aircross, in the shortest time possible. Competition was tight, especially knowing that the top three challengers would walk away with up to $400 worth of prizes.
Lucky for them, the C5 Aircross comes fitted with modular rear seats that fold flat to unpack a generous 1630L boot space*. No wonder our top challengers breezed through the challenge in only a matter of minutes!
The C5 Aircross Midnight Rouge
The attendees of the Singapore Motorshow 2020 were also treated to a one-time-only unveiling of our limited edition C5 Aircross Midnight Rouge. Wrapped in seductive black satin and accented with 19” black alloy wheels, carbon fibre, and red brake calipers and trimmings, this bold and audacious Shine Plus variant is proof that the C5 Aircross not just for the comfort-riders – it’s also for the adventure-seekers.
The Grand C4 SpaceTourer
If you were there, you might have also spotted the family-favourite 7-seater MPV – the Citroën Grand C4 SpaceTourer. Don’t be fooled by its generous facade, this versatile hard-hitter is even the SG Young Parents’ Choice MPV 2018/2019 and a four-time winner of the Engine of the Year from 2015 to 2018!
At the end of the day, it was hard to walk away empty-handed at the Citroën booth. Our drivers were treated to a sure-win shot at our spin-and-win wheel with every purchase of a Citroën. Of course, the Singapore Motorshow 2020 could not have been a success without the support of our customers – until next year!
